That was a close one !!!

Normal journey for me of a day is down the M40/A40 into London. Today is was remarkably quiet for some reason and so I took full advantage and hooned it into town :D

Coming onto the westway, I was *ahem making progress* when onto a sliproad ahead of me I see a black Vauxhall Omega emerge. Sixth sense kicked in and I slowed down until I was behind him, where I could see two aerials on the back..looked just a tad dodgy to me.

Silver volvo went speeding past and sure enough, off went the omega after him. Found them parked up about a mile or so ahead and all lights on.
Copper getting out of the front seat gave me a little wry smile as I went past.

Close one...someone was smiling down on me today me thinks :thumb:

"unmarked" cars stand out a mile if you know what to look for, good spotting mate.

We've got an unmarked Golf GTi around here, it's got alloys, tints and is lowered. We've also got an unmmarked 05 STi in WR blue with a personal plate. You'd be hard pushed to spot either of them as being unmarked police cars.

The Golf has followed me on numerous occasions through the village hoping to catch me out but failed :smug:

Big box of donuts, a copy of the "The Bill TV Series - Directors Cut".. if you can't see those then look for tell tale screens lighting up, lots of lights on the interior roof trim above the rearview mirror... and always two blokes looking like a happy couple ;)

I was being metaphorical, (I only said that because it sounds impressive) but you just can't be too certain though Swiss!

Les :)
