Elite ##Rainham##

Im going to elites in rainham later today to get a new back box and de cat pipe fitted to my 97 wagon, can anyone recommend any of there stock?

I know they supply, magnex, mongoose and remus, has anyone used elite for there scooby?

Ive used elite years ago for a shed of an escort and a vectra, but dont want them to f**k anything up on the scooby.

ESC have had a couple of "open" days there and i know a lot of ESC members use them, so you have no worries about them working on your scoob.

as for what to get, will leave that to someone in the know to answer.

I think you would be better of going to Hayward & Scott for the exhaust bits IMHO.

Elite do a cracking job but sometimes you need to choose a bit of a specialist.

Stainless exhausts manifolds headers

All my opinion of course ;)

Speak to Barry @ Elites, he's the bosses son and also gives us some discount if you are a paid up ESC member

53 11 March 2008 01:40 PM

I wasn't that impressed last time I went to Elites, I would still use them over others for tyres (although I prefer Maldon Super Tyres now, rubber floors:luvlove: ) but there are better and closer outfits to chelmsford for what your describing.:) An open day experience is probably better then a noob off the street going in on a work day.

Would also recomend H&S, prices usually quoted fitted so worth a call to Ian at H&S :thumb:

Ms Gooner 1 11 March 2008 01:57 PM

Yep - we used H&S - and maybe making a return visit to them soon for the Wagon(s) :D
I've not personally used Elite - although have spoken to them on a few occasions - but they do come VERY recommended on here.

I'm afraid he doesn't. I tried the ESC line the last time I was up there and it fell on deaf ears. Unless you know different :Suspiciou I'd still trust them to work on the car though

To the OP. I'd also recommend H & S over what Elite have got to offer.

Spec'c'57 11 March 2008 02:18 PM

Probably because it was 2 1/2 years ago the last open day....

True, this last Summer but he still didn't want to know, even when I mentioned I'd spent nearly £600 on the day.

But as they say, if you don't ask, you don't get.

WRX_Dazza 11 March 2008 07:27 PM

deep_st24 11 March 2008 08:12 PM

I agree with Dazza, had some amazing deals from Elite on wheels and tyres, don't go anywhere else anymore.

robbroy 11 March 2008 08:26 PM

I got a set of tyres fitted there on sat.. was a very quick & professional service, as always @ Elite's........
But, yer Zorst would be better sourced @ H&S, a more customised fit & sound..

Elite's usually can't be beaten for tyre prices, wasn't impressed with the exhaust selection though when I was looking down there.

Same here, I got some tyres from them but he wasn't interested in giving any discount when I mentioned ESC and SIDC.
