Custom Brake Discs

Hi,

I bought some used Brembo 4 pots with 325mm discs of Fleabay last year from a Scoob breaker. Turns out theyre off a Seat cupra, with a custom made bracket and custom bells and discs to fit the scoob.

The grooves have worn out on the back of the disc (still there on front), is that the time to replace or are there a few thousand miles left?

As i cant just buy them off the shelf i'll have to have some made i think??

I've spoken to Ian @ Godspeed who has quoted me 305 delivered, if i send him a disc to copy, seems like a really nice genuine bloke, says 2-3 days before i'd have new discs back.

Just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions before i take the car off the road....?

Cheers
Nicky

i have had my standard calipers refurbed by ian,top service, but he can get busy sometimes, and the turn over my be abit longer, but well worth it in the end

Also anyone got any suggestions where the most reasonable prices for pads are? EBC redstuffs for mine are coming in around 100 quid.....

You could try compbrake Home_Page for discs, they'll supply curved vane rotors in 325mm.
