I am legend

just watched it ,
i felt so damn upset about sam...... :(

the alt. ending is slightly better and becomes a "oh i see"

GC8 06 March 2008 10:36 PM

Do you feel that spoiling the story for others is appropriate?

cookstar 06 March 2008 10:36 PM

I thought it was rubbish!

How does that spoil it?

for all we know, Sam could be a real hunk, who wins the lottery, finds himself a really fit bird and lives the life most people dream of - which is why WWp8 is upset..

Ok it's a long shot but you'll never know till you watch it...:D

I think you will find that it was the screenwriters that spoilt the story.

boxst 06 March 2008 10:58 PM

I was extremely disapointed with I am Legend. It just doesn't make any sense and is full of inconsistencies.

little-ginge 06 March 2008 11:05 PM

I only watched 2 minutes of it..going by what has been said so far I don't think I'll bother with the rest:lol1:

wwp8 06 March 2008 11:30 PM

i actually very carefully planned my paragraph to not spoil much if any.

and it still did?

how does people rate the alt. ending though?

ScoobyWon't 07 March 2008 02:21 AM

I watched 10 minutes and fell asleep :D Is it actually any good?

myblackwrx 07 March 2008 08:54 AM

The book is a lot better.

Alt. ending? have they made it like the book then?

Tidgy 07 March 2008 08:57 AM

another disapointment here, wasn't impressed at a'll

Snazy 07 March 2008 09:06 AM

I thought it was quite good actually. Got to be in the right mood though I guess.
Nice to see something slightly dramatical without too many flashing lights, missile attacks, tanks or other such. (note "without too many ;) )

scoobynewbie72 07 March 2008 09:12 AM

Ive tried 3 times to watch it now an find it a real struggle, slow and the story is just pants no idea why there was such hype about this film at all.

New_scooby_04 07 March 2008 09:14 AM

I think Empire summed it up best: Stuff that occurs during the day is excellent, as soon as night falls, it's pants!!

So, overall, average!!

Ns04

Luminous 07 March 2008 09:14 AM

I liked the noise of the mustang at the start of the film :)

The rest was a bit pants.

davegtt 07 March 2008 09:15 AM

Wasnt overly impressed with it either, slow and dull, not enough entertainment throughout to keep me interested in it for the full duration.

lol I did like that, the start, raggin about in the "Stang" then the rest of the film spent in an SUV......why!

M444GY 07 March 2008 11:14 AM

didnt think much of it really . bit of a yankyfied 28 days later tbh !

yoza 07 March 2008 11:25 AM

Was he trying to run the dear over........or shoot them ?

He got that close to one he could have stroked it !

The rifle and scope could have nailed a dear at 3 miles...

Why didnt he drop the grenade and get in the safe with the other two ?

Why did he never take a sh1t, after eating all that veg, and facing all those mutants you would not expect constapation.

Why did his watch date read 08.17.05 ?

Whats wrong with that if you are American?

mrtheedge2u2 07 March 2008 11:32 AM

I could of swore we had a whopping thread on this a while ago.......

yoza 07 March 2008 11:37 AM

The film was not set in 2005, or even shot in 2005..............

The watch alarm sounds nothing like the original watch, but then again the Mustangs engine and box didnt sound anything like the real deal either.

HPLovecraft 07 March 2008 11:39 AM

Actually preferred the original screen adaptation with Charlton Heston as the lead role.

PeteBrant 07 March 2008 12:13 PM
