Recommend me a good pre workout energy drink / capsules / nitrous
Anyone recommend any decent pre workout drink / supplement that will help with sustaining energy and increasing pumps etc?
There are too many on the market for me to go through them all so looking for something that people have experienced and had good results with. I dont want anything though that is caffeine/sugar based Cheers James |

A banana or two about an hour before your workout - seriously, makes a difference!!!
Just make sure you constantly sip water throughout your workout as if you get thirsty its too late as your body is dehydrated and you lose energy |
cheers chief, been there done that, just need extra to help with stamina on the running machine and then to help me with my weights so I can do more

Keep strenuous cardio and lifting heavy weights seperate - a warm up is ok i.e. 5 minutes on the bike but keep cardio and weights on sepereate days.

Jay you can have a quick fix i.e. a sugary energy drink but these are short lived tbh, make sure you have plenty of carbohydrates to ensure you dont burn out and plenty of water.
I dont believe too much in all these whizz bang drinks, if you look at the ingredients most are just glucose based. You dont really need to spend loads if you must have something just have a bloody Red Bull and a banana:thumb: |
