lol go treat yourself and get a full set hahaha

go get 6 gauges (7 would be greedy :nono: :lol1: :lol1: ) then go get a tachometer as well :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

I got Fuel Pressure by mistake, so ended up fitting it.

I'd go for boost, oil p, oil temp. I have the 3 in the pod and the fuel pressure in the drivers air vent. Really should upload a pic of it sometime.

Where are you getting your Defi Gauges from M8 and how much as I am also looking for a set of Original Defi gauges, but for 3 gauges it seems to be around 500 pound is this the norm or no?

just depends where u buying ur gauges at? for 3 gauges and controller prices tend to be within £400 - £500 from those that i have seen

try nengun.com

they are slightly cheaper, or better still if ur going on holiday anywhere where the pound is strong :lol1: u want to get them there hahaah (beware import taxes hoho)

GazTheHat 04 March 2008 06:35 PM

America works out cheaper, but there are obvious pitfalls.

just for my benefit IF i do get some sent over from any other country, what would stop me from importing? apart from obviously, "missing parcels," and "if it gets into customs hands and they want tax on it?"

i have friends and family in america, hong kong, singapore, austrailia, in all places it seems the units are way cheaper than here in the uk...

eg i can order 6 gauges plus controller abroad for about £600 exc delivery

here in uk..... nearly £1000 :eek2:

IMHO Oil Pressure would be the most useful in a lightly modded car.

ScuuBdoo 05 March 2008 12:35 AM

Oil pressure is a must on any modified scooby.

If you've got relatives abroad get them to send them to you marked as a present. Customs won't want duty on a present. Then get another to send you the full set as a present and advertise them on here. Someone will buy them at the right price.
