I've just signed up with easyCinema, with a pack of 4 credits @ £1.99 each.

I put 6 titles in my selection and they've posted me the first already, but today I got an email advising me to make sure I have "at least 20" titles selected, so they can offer me a "better service".

Is this for real? I know they like to have a choice of titles because they don't necessarily have enough of the latest relases to go round - but 20?!

Surely that's just "please let us send you any old crap and call it 'service'?"

They do that so that they can keep sending you films, as the chances are you may get all nostagic and order some older stuff so they can keep u ticking over while the newer stuff is elsewhere!!

We r with lovefilm and have the dvd/games package - its been ok so far and we have a good list of titles, we've had some new films, but most of the stuff we've had has been older games and films!!

This is the thing. Its similar to when people would come to your door with a catalogue.

You order as many as possible they send you ones you don't remember ordering. They have 100s or Forest Gump or Cool Runnings but 50 Transformers due to cost of newer films.

Its a shame this has come about because all our local rental shops have gone. We used to enjoy spending an hour in the shop arguing over what to watch.
