Anyone running a Zen remap?

Got a price on an ECUTEK remap on my 2005 STI PPP and was wondered if anyone had any experience of a remap there?
Obviously Ive read up on the company before asking for a quote so I'm plenty happy enough to use them to do the work, its just mapping results I'm interested in.
Cheers

I have had a remap done from paul at zen. Was very happy with the results and he is a very nice guy to deal with.

You do know he does road mapping dont you ? so the results are not printed out like some mappers do, as it is not detailed in the same way a rolling road would be.

oh and best posting this in General instead of Lighting :lol1:

Cheers matey,
I am aware of the mapping being done on road realtime, not looking for boasting figures (too old for that and most of my mates are too) just drivability.

I was looking for a topic and electrical seemed the best place I could find

Yep new turbo and other bits …. There are a few wrx running that level that have had the Zen treatment … 1 guy ran his on a rolling road and it was 347 and no problems. He always gives good solid advice and never tries to sell you unrealistic figures which is something other companies do. Also if you see his time attack car you no any job you need doing must be simple compared to running and building that beast…

Highly recommended IMHO. Going back for more when I get the chance. Really friendly team over there aswell. Hes done the mapping on my car and my mates Sti and its transformed the cars, but also kept it nice and safe. Will give you good advice aswell and get the best out of your car.

Get the ZEN Treatment, well worth the trip and its not too far from Santa Pod either :norty: :norty:

Agree with above: he's done a lot of work on my bug STI, currently about 400bhp. He tells you what you can achieve, he generally achieves it, and he doesn't try to over-sell to you: if he says you need part x, then you really do need it. Can't recommend the guy enough.

Also excellent for higher powered cars running aftermarket engine managment systems :thumb: 440bhp atw with more to come once I need more:norty: . No bull, from Paul just good solid advice, rather than a few others that I have used that cover their deficiencies by pointing out that the car will not make the power due to x, y, z being wrong.

He will also be mapping my new bugeye Sti and a few Group N rally cars once we get him back out to Cyprus in a few months.

mr terzo 09 March 2008 07:10 PM

had my classic mapped by paul down at tsl .the car made 285bhp 290ft/lbs on motorscope dyno from a terzo with tdo4 and 132k on the clock now with 156k and still running as sweet as ever cant recommend this fella enough he is awesome the mad professor:notworthy
