Where to go in Prague for Stag Doo?
Hi all I posted this qestion before? But can't find it again due to the crap search engine on here.
Well I'm off there on my mates Stag Doo next month and need to book some things. Any ideas guys? |
Stay in this country, that way it's less embarrassing for the rest of us when we have to visit places like Prague! ;)

Oh that's alright then, apparently stag do's are pretty unpopular there these days. :(
I've never been there I'm afraid so I can't offer much advice. |
Aye, groups of lads coming over on the lash aren't that welcome. You possibly won't find the welcome mat out for you thanks to those that have gone before.
5t. |
There is a shooting club to the east of the City, worth a crack. Lots of touristy tours to go on, big castle to investigate.
On one night, make sure you visit Darlings though, there is a limo that will come and pick you up and take you there :) |

Do the culture stuff. Castle is worth a visit though I think the way they group the tickets, you need to allow loads of time to visit everything. Even if you don't want the culture stuff, it's a way of getting people out and about and in the fresh air to effect a recovery! :)
Pubs/bars, try "u vejvodu" for a beer and/or maybe food. Top tip, avoid the pretzels. Try the Brazilian restaurant and the Italian (of the same chain), though be prepared to eat lots and lots and lots and lots of meat. And possibly a few chips. We did so well they gifted us some shorts at the end of the evening. :D Don't drink the the old town square as a) everyone does it and b) it's mega-expensive and busy compared to something only-just-around-the-corner. And I mean, really, just around the corner. Beware of blondes touting riding crops! (Though this may have been a special request by the stag party concerned). Generally, all of the tomfoolery is located in Wenceslas square. We did stumble upon a bit of a bar/cafe out East but I'm fscked if I can recall exactly where. They did a nice line in cocktails including one involving Tequila, tripple sec and tobasco. :D J. |
I did the castle and Charles bridge last time I went there with my Girlfriend but the uncultured bums that my mates are, aren't up for it.

I went there on a stag do loads of years ago. About 10, can't really remember much, couldn't when I was there either! Saw some very "interesting" shows. Was mugged, but was pissed and argued with the mugger and got my phone and wallet back.
Had some very cheap drinks, and some foul goulash, but then is was wasked down by very cheap beer so thats ok! On reflection this is sod all help! |
lol

Great place to visit, lots to see and do, expensive in the tourist area's now but sidestreet bars offer good value and some of the restauraunts have excellent food at very reasonable prices.:)
Local Police will not tolerate drunken behaviour and will crack heads and arrest anyone behaving stupidly or threatening the general peaceful atmosphere. |
To be honest the guys I'm going with are all abit boring so I need to organise some things to liven them up abit.

Anybody heard of this place there called 'Goldfingers'?
I keep hearing about it. |
Biggest problem we had there were the touts - mainly agressive africans who strictly will not take no for an answer and will follow your group for miles literally.
Some of our group almost came to blows with one of them before he would go away. Some of the lads went into Darlings, anything you want can be had there just stay off the booze other than local beer - it costs £££££££! We popped into a pub just over the other side of the road from Darlings, good food and beers upstairs during the day - strippers and fun and games for the Stag downstairs at night if thats what you're after. Final tip - get the bus and tube from the airport - about 80p and takes your right to the square. |
Gold Fingers is a good strip club on the main square.
|
Anybody got any other tips for things to do / places to go?
|
Just to say I'm now back from said Stag Doo and was bloody good! I definiately recommended Prague!
