How much oil will my gearbox take?
 

hi just a quick one.

im about to do a gearbox oil change, how much oil shall i buy? and just to makesure, iv heard the right one is 75W90? shall i get fully synthetic?

if a UK 5 speed then you'll need 4 litres, might as well buy 5 and do the rear diff whilst you're at it - 0.8 litres for that.

Castrol driveline is ideal.

car is a uk turbo 2000 so yeah a 5 speed. was that the right oil grade though?

The correct oil for your gearbox is Castrol Syntrax 75w90 & you will need exactly 3.5L on a drain & refill.
