RB320/2006 Spec C/UK STI PPP?
 

I apologise for asking this kind of question which has come up before I know! (found lots of thread searches) But I cannot come to a conclusion & am unsure on a few facts.

1)What is the power of the JDM Spec C?
2)I know this may be a bit of a silly question but which would be quickest 0 to 60mph
3)Best handling
4)Most comfortable, especially as daily drive & occasional family occupants

I currently drive a JDM Nissan 350z which I will be replacing mid to latter part of year as 2 seater is getting difficult. A few days ago I test drove an Mitsu EVO IX FQ360 but decided, though astonishingly fast & capable, it is too hardcore/fast/unsafe/expensive to run & difficult as daily drive. I drive only 4,000 miles a year max & will do a few trackdays in the year at most. Any mods I may do will only be exhaust/cats/ & remap. My heart will say RB320 but my wallet may have other ideas! I am thinking of spending between £18k to £24k (imagining RB320 will be down to £24k or less approx by end of year?)

Any advice welcome, as I have been raking my brains out for the past 6 months & have now narrowed it down to the above. Thanks.

3) Spec C
4) Sti PPP I would imagine - though it is all relative:)

Think you will find most Spec C owners say they are difficult as a daily driver, noisy, tough suspension etc - though awesome when you want some fun. Suspect same will apply to RB320 re comfort levels. I have STi PPP and don't find it too uncomfortable, then again I do not use it as a family cruiser:lol1: .

My Spec C was 294bhp as it turned up from Japan (tested on rolling road). A few simple mods later & it's about 375bhp, which is nice! It's fairly hardcore albeit my daily driver so does about 50 miles per day & causes me no problems. If the OP does 4k miles per year then it will be fine.

If you have £18-24k, get a Spec C Type RA :norty:

If you think the Evo is too hardcore, you may not like the spec C which is a similar car. The RB320 is a great car and will enjoy good residuals. But if you want the ultimate scooby experience, it has to be the spec C.

Spec c with a quite 3" exhaust system and remap and that should do you fine. The RB320 is a stunning car but is more show then go. :)
