Well, made me laugh anyway...
My wife is applying for UK citizenship and it's no secret to you lot that I'm a bit sensitive about these things :) but I did smile at the phrase at the bottom of this article (not sure if they'll change it soon)... Smith outlines new citizenship rules for immigrants | Politics | guardian.co.uk In a comment that appeared to preempt the results of a consultation exercise being run by the Home Office, the prime minister said today that foreigners who planned to marry British citizens and settle in the UK would have to pass an Englith test. |
