Fanbelt with a re-located Alternator ??
What fan belt will i require now that i have moved the Alternator over in order accomodate my soon to be fitted Reversed inlet manifold :wonder:
any help is greatly appreciated guys. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/...nator_belt.jpg Thanks Chris. |
A shorter one?
Sorry that was no help at all was it! |
Last time I had to do this (on another car) I just got some string and wraped it round the pulleys and tied it off at the needed length.
Then I raided the shelf at my local motor factors to find a ribbed belt that was the correct length (using the string to compare). Granted, a bit difficult these days as proper motor-factors that hold huge stock don't really exist anymore. :( |
i like your method shark man, i may know of a place that i can try :thumb:
gpssti4 - i need a longer one actually, so the shorter one wasn't much help :lol1: |
