Subaru Badge Colour

Is there any meaning behind the different coloured subaru badges? iv heard the pink badge means its an import and the black badge makes it uk. however.... my imprt has a black badge so????

I had a UK 2000 a couple of years ago and that had a black star logo badge, i have imports now that have the 'i' badge but are still black. To the best of my knowledge only the STi's have pink badges to match the other trick bits, ie strut brace, fog lamp cover logo's etc. As for Terzo's, RB5's etc all other limited editions im not really sure? :wonder:

cheers is ther any give away for knowing if its the Type RA?? they seem to usually be white

The RA's are more commonly white, they have manually winding windows and generally less (if any) mod cons for weight reduction. They are marked RA on the back and, i think, although it may just be the red tops, have shorter gearing and redline at 8000 not 7000 rpm.
