Graduate Milk Round
Can some bright young thing tell me what this expression means in the context of technology firms recruiting staff.
Many thanks, David |
Employers trawling around the Universities' job fairs etc and giving their presentations. i.e. delivering jobs to graduates rather than grads going to the shop to get one themselves :)

Many thanks.

They're a big waste of time anyway.
Just an excuse for HR people to visit big cities and flirt with students.... |
^^^LMAO
So true and to think, you too could be fast tracked for a promising career in a lab earning less than 30k a year.... I'm glad I was crap at Chemistry goodness knows where I would have ended up. |
had them all come to visit when i was uni - i went round all the stands, got loads of freebies, then didn't apply for any of their jobs.
All they're good for really :lol1: |

Just an excuse for HR people to visit big cities and flirt with students.... My son got a great job out of attending one of these. He went having done some homework on the companies attending, got the top job at his target company, a great career and they put him through another degree for free to maximise his qualifications so he's well set for life. And he wasn't the only one frrom his uni either. |
