ChipsAway: any good?

Hi, the missus nudged the right corner of the rear bumper at parking speed. No actual proper damage needing repair, but some scratching and crazing where the bumper was compressed. Also slight scuffing of paint where the bumper meets the edge of the rear wing. I've lived with it for a few months, but want to get it sorted if the price/quality is OK. Has anyone got any experience of the ChipsAway franchise people? There's one local to me in Wellingborough called Talbot Car Care Ltd. Are they any good? What am I likely to pay? Any other recommendations for this kind of thing?

depends, there a franchise so will depend who you get.

i used them in the nottingham area, chap called norman, on my old astra sri, which was metalic black, after my sister decided to open my dads car door into mine, grrr i wasn't happy, but after he'd worked his magic on the dent then sorted the paintwork out, you couldn't tell.

so depends where you are and who you get.

Thanks for that: would that be Steve Hancock, or another Steve? Did he come to you or did he carry out the repair in a workshop somewhere? Also what did he charge for whatever work he did?
