Nationwide BS scam
 
Just recieved this obvious e-mail scam requesting my bank betails.

Beware


Please take a moment to verify the following information.

Our record shows that at 08:30 G.M.T,you accessed The Nationwide Building Society at that time,you esterblished or changed your personal information.

No action is necessary unless this acitvity occured without your knowlege or permission.

We are committed to keeping your account and personal infomation safe and secure.We recommend that you protect your personal infomation to help prevent unauthorised accessed to your account.
As an added security measure,you are required to verify your account information via the following link.
To update your Nationwide records click on the following link:
http://online.nationwide.co.uk/ibsna...lt/confirm.cfm

We are sorry for any incovinence.

Remember Failure to update your account details will lead to account
suspension for security Reasons.

With spelling like that it's safe to say it must have originated in SN General ;)

I got one of them the other week.

If I'd ever actually banked at Nationwide they might have got me. Honest. ;)

It's OK, I spoke with someone on the phone who asked me for my pin number and account details. They also asked me to turn my card to Mr Uv Binhad in Nigeria. I've sent it recorded delivery to be safe ;)
