I loved Eels way back when they first came out....the singer did have rather a tortured time as the 2nd depressing album showed but he seems a happier bloke now!

Eels are a great band and Im sure theyve released loads of great music going un-noticed by the masses. Thanks for the heads up on this, think I would have missed it tbh.

I've always liked the Eels - Daisies of the Galaxy is aces

I also bought (shock, horror) 'A Man Called (E)' which is the lead singer's solo album. It is also good.

Superb band, can be quite dark and surreal.

His dad was Hugh Everett III. Proper clever geezer he was, you know. :)
