Enjoyable day at Star yesterday - apart from my car misbehaving itself on the rollers :(

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong? More details here: http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...ThreadID=66667

Did leave me a bit dissapointed but I cheered up later on when Alan kindly did a rough map on my previously unfitted LINK which even after a 10 minute session made the car feel completely different :)

But I'm back to standard ECU at the moment until we can get it mapped properly, I'm still a bit in the dark as to what might be wrong?

Cheers,

Chris

It's that dodgy blue paint you've got all over the interior ;)

Hope you get it sorted out, it might be worthing popping into AWD and getting the old Select Monitor on the car.

LOL @ Robbie - I think you could well be right ;)

PS For anyone that did see my blue paint - it was like that when I bought it! Almost getting used to it now - matches my spandex underwear :D

Quick update - found out what might have been causing some of my problems:

1) ITG panel filter was completely covered in crap, along with a nice collection of gunk in the bottom of the airbox. Removed an absolute ton of sticky sh1t from the bottom of the panel filter - neither wonder it wasn't feeling too hot!

2) Nice hole in the intercooler handily hidden by the previous owner under the PE intercooler guard :( Mostly sealed, so not causing too many probs at the moment...

No fault codes coming up on the ECU, so next steps are to replace the panel filter (either back to standard with the resonator pipework put back in or a K&N), get the car serviced (inc replacing the fuel filter and ECU reset), and check the plugs.

Have to wait on it coming back from the bodyshop first though..

Hopefully I can then get the Link fitted and I'll be cookin' on gas :D

Big thanks to AlanG for the help this far :)

PS Hopefully get my result off the bottom of the pile next time around!
