12v Dustbuster/hoover

Can anyone recommend a decent 12v Dustbuster\hoover?
I am completely f****d off with wasting money on petrol station hoovers that have not had the filter cleaned in 10 years so they dont pick up ****!!

Using hoover from the house aint an option.

Thanks for any response:)

This is OK

Robert Dyas - Your friendly online home and garden specialist

But not as good as a mains vac. It's OK for getting rid of most of the weekly dust etc.

Dyson do one, looks like one of the weapons out of Men In Black. I don't know if it's any good.

Dyson's handheld cost £100!

I've got one- bloody expensive but very good, much better than the usual 'dustbuster' type vacuums.

It does, however, have a very short battery life- mine does about 6 minutes between charges, which is just enough.

Dyson and cheap are not words you often see in the same sentence (unless some people talk about the build quality...)

I wonder if there are caravanning products or similar that would work from a lighter socket so you can get more power without flattening a little battery too quickly?

Battery or car battery ones are all pants, you could probably suck the dirt up better yourself.

Car is parked too far from flat and also its more convenient than running extensions and all sorts across a busy path/road.
