dump valve location?
 
i know im probably being a bit dappy, bit where do i fit the dump valve in a uk turbo 2000? iv heard to the right of the engine bay but cant seem to find it? :wonder:

The standard one is bolted on the front of the intercooler.

so can i just remove that and replace it with a dump valve in the same place?

Yes - and no - what dump valve are you using, if its VTA, then you need to plug the hose that comes off the stock valve back into the intake, if you are using an aftermarket recirc valve, I would ask why?

You will need a DV specifically for your year with the right mounting flange as well, or an adaptor kit (more expensive generally!)

Had a look at view my scooby and its a 1999 so DV on the intercooler as mentioned
