Best way to change classic up-pipe?

I have a hole in mine and need to change it. What's the best way to do this and what gaskets will I need?

It's a 1993 japanese import if it makes a difference.

Any help appreciated, Thanks.

Remove downpipe > remove turbo > loosen headers/up-pipe joint > remove up-pipe.

You'll need some exhaust paste, but gaskets can be reused if they look OK still. The studs/nuts/bolts will often be in pretty bad condition, so expect to replace a few of these. Use plenty of releasing fluid and a quality 14mm 6-sided socket to get the nuts off or you'll round them off with a normal 12 point socket.

would not recomend putting exhaust paste anywhere near your tubo, simply get the correct gaskets and you'll have no worries.............
