Site Keeps dying

Its happening a couple of times a day. Happens when I'm in work and when I'm at home.. just happened about two minutes ago. Nothing loads for a few minutes !!

 starting to get a bit annoying now :brickwall

pimmo2000 27 January 2008 09:36 PM

Status : 504 Gateway Time-Out

Description : Unable to connect to origin web server. The web site you are attempting to access is currently unreachable. This may be due to a network outage, or the web site might be experiencing technical difficulties.

pimmo2000 27 January 2008 09:55 PM

Ok it's really starting to get annoying now

tiny gsy 27 January 2008 09:58 PM

I keep getting it too

Sonic' 27 January 2008 10:24 PM

I do have to say, since the SN servers moved that weekend, performance for me has been a lot worse, very slow to load a lot of the time to the point I end up giving up, and lately it seems to be going down several times a day too

Its not just my ISP at home, as I access Scoobynet from quite a lot of different sites (and ISP's)

slipstream_uk 28 January 2008 12:56 AM

same problem here, been going on several times a day for the past couple of weeks

pimmo2000 28 January 2008 11:27 AM

Webby?

Sonic' 28 January 2008 12:51 PM

Speedwise is ok again today, unless posting then it is slow to a crawl

MattW 28 January 2008 03:16 PM

I have the same issue from time to time. Not been on over weekend, and is ok today but friday was terrible.

pimmo2000 28 January 2008 03:18 PM

Not dropped today, but not been on much... no word from the boss???

bugeyeandy 28 January 2008 04:07 PM

It's definately become worse, went offline for about 15 minutes this afternoon and has slowed to a crawl on several occasions.

ScoobLou 28 January 2008 04:08 PM

I get the same too :(

pimmo2000 29 January 2008 05:57 PM

No reply to this????

scoobz72 30 January 2008 12:01 PM

Have to agree, its been a lot worse just lately.

I did begin to wonder if it was My ISP but a quick ping discarded that theory.
The timeout seems to be a DNS issue.

pimmo2000 30 January 2008 05:44 PM

Running a tight ship here !

ScoobLou 31 January 2008 09:50 PM

I feel its poor there has been no response. Perhaps you should have posted in Policy pimmo, you may have got a quicker response?

Not having ago but I think its bad noone has replied.

StickyMicky 02 February 2008 06:41 PM

had the same at both my ends (different providers home/work)

Silver Scooby Sport 03 February 2008 07:25 PM

Same here work and home, very slow and blank screen quite often.

Sonic' 03 February 2008 08:35 PM

Still happens a couple of times a day

Sometimes the main page will reload, but none of the forums will work, or take upto 60 seconds to actually open

ScuuBdoo 03 February 2008 08:46 PM

I have the same problems recently.

Shark Man 03 February 2008 09:41 PM

Aye, seems to hang every now and again for several minutes.

Seems its gone back to what it was like when it was hosted on the old .co.uk server. :(

pimmo2000 03 February 2008 09:57 PM

Webby said hes very busy but will look into this ASAP.. :)

ex-webby 04 February 2008 11:29 AM

Strange you should say that...

Although I'm not a member there, I visit it occasionally. I've just started noticing that it doesn't load at similar times to SN. Although other sites will. :wonder:

I'm with Virgin broadband ADSL (Until the 8th, then I'm free! :luxhello: :lol1: ) if that helps in anyway.

Possible ISP issue?

scoobz72 05 February 2008 10:25 PM

nope, not ISP. The network guys know its an issue. I for one am getting fed up of it
