running on 95 Ron
 

i have a uk spec turbo 2000 was jsut wondering is it ok to run on 95ron fuel as i know tescos normal unleaded is 95ron and it does say in the back to run on anythign 95 and over jsut wondering if anyone else is running tescos normal unleaded at 95 ron

my car is being mapped next month can i get mapped to run on 95 can i will this have a effect on perfomance

yeah it'll be fine mate as it's a uk car.

TBH over here we have only 95 ron petrol(unless u add octane booster)

so getting it mapped for 95 is ok, but you have more choices in the uk, so get it mapped for 99.

performance wise 99 ron is always better, but only if car is mapped for it.

you can run it on 95, but tbh performance wise it will dissapoint you.

i use 95, but have major mods and my bhp is around 340, when we had super unleaded 99 ron i was running at 380bhp.

ok cheers guys im having jgm up when he is free soon to map it so i will speak to him about if i can get it running well on 95ron then i will if not will just get it on 99 ron i will see he thinks is the best route to go
