Why won't My newage STi Seats Fit into My Classic?

Hi all,

Just bought a set of 2002 STi Seats. I've just stripped the interior out and cleaned the car ready for the new seats.

I've just placed the front passenger seat into postion and the floor brackets are different. Do I need to re-use the sub frame from my classic seats?

My understanding was the seats would be a striaght swap. But I can't see how, the holes for the bolts are in completely different places

Right, sorted the fitting problem, my subframes were not mounted right.

Now though, my seatbelts don't fit. and I've got to re-use my old seat belt sockets. I thought this would be a striaght swap. Oh no.

This happened to me when I did mine, classic 98 seats to STi V6 seats in red and blue/grey.

I had to re-remove both front seats and swap the seatbelt catches for those off my old seats.
