fuel smell from engine?
 

Hi guys i sometimes get the odd wiff of fuel in my 96 import as the backend is totally stripped out and walbro fp in there and i know imprezas run rich as standerd but recently im getting very strong smells of fuel and especially when i open the window as if its coming from the engine? recent mod is an apexi induction kit.

what could be causeing this guys?

Is the smell strong when you open the bonnet?

Hi i cant really tel just when driving and maybe more when i give it some abuse! what would it mean if it was stronger when the bonnet is open?

anyone else had simuler experiences?

It's just a mate had a strong smell from under the bonnet and it was an injector o ring was leaking.

just had the same problem on mine mate all it was making the fuel smell was the pipe from the fuel pressure regulator had come loose..
