Lower 04 Sti Blob
 

I have Type uk 04 Sti with PPP and want to lower it, everything is standard apart from 18" wheels. Any ideas/advice welcomed.

These struts should work with the 04 STI

1. KYB AGX
2. KYB GR2
3. Tokico HP
4. Tokico D-SPEC
5. STi/SPT Version 7

Either by using 02-03 springs and 02-03 rear strut top mounts. Or you can use 04+ style springs, 04+ style rear strut top mounts, and the Scooby921 strut spacer, available here:

As for springs-
Springs designed for 04-07 STi will fit.
Springs for 04-07 RS or WRX will fit, but will be too soft for the stock struts.
To use springs designed for 02-03 Impreza, you must use 02-03 Impreza struts and rear strut top mounts.

I found all of this using this auto forum search engine, there is more information there as well. And for my personal choice, is a set of good coilovers. It's a little pointless to suggest which ones because your budget and what you want them for determine what is best, not a brand name. Any 02+ coilovers will work except 05+ STI coilovers, which will not fit your car. Good luck!
