tuning answers needed. cheers

got a 96 v2 sti ra. lookin to mildly tune it but need some advise.
i have blitz nur and decat so exhaust is sorted.
what r the std injectors good for or should i get some 550s. what other options r there. is there a later model with larger injectors. looking at max of 350bhp.
keeping top mount. is there a better top mount i can use off a later car that will fit. what is the max power recommended on the top mount.
managment wise what is good and cheap. i had greddy emanage on my pulsar which was quite good, any1 use this. what other options r there that r cheap.
so mods list is
blitz nur
h+s decat dp
panel filter (which 1 is best)
uprated top mount ?
uprated injectors ? which would u use to support my other mods?
walbro pump
fuel pressure reg
some sort of management (which 1)
spark plugs uprated

cheers for any help. just want some more power on a budget.

From my own first experiences:

For 350 bhp the stock injectors will not reach so go for 550cc.
The stock FP Reg might be OK, but add a Walbro.

Change the turbo to a TD05 18g, can be found on here secondhand @ £350 ish.

Get/invest in an Apexi FC mapped properly.
Consider your clutch. If in doubt fit an Exedy from API Engines.

That will get you to 350 bhp and a healthy torque level too @ 1.3/1.4 bar on Shell V power preferably with NF booster too.

If you leave the booster out of the fuel the power will drop about 5% or so.

PS
Change top mount to min Sti V3 or nicer is an Sti V8 converted to fit. (ask for one on Snet) @ £150.

intercooler - due to size you are limited on your car to upto a version 3 really sti or wrx from newer.. the sti8 won't fit without switching the inlet manifold as the phase 1 manifold and throttle body are nearer the bulk head than the phase 1.5 / version 3.

choices of management - Apexi PowerFC, ESL live mappable board in original ecu, Simtek etc..

oh and standard turbo will get to 350 give or take a bit with supporting mods but the 18g Graham mentions will make it easier.

With 550 cc injectors you can max out the turbo and do not need an FPR but a Walbro 255 lph HP pump is advisable as Graham says.
Your top mount cannot cope with anything over 300 bhp and an STi 3/4 TMIC is struggling long before 350 bhp. My STi 3 TMIC, which I still have complete with air charge temp guage etc would record 70C after sprinting 0-100mph. That was at 335 bhp on a VF23.
You would be best of with a Hybrid tube and fin FMIC.
NGK PFR 7B plugs.
Ported O/E headers and matched up-pipe will add a lot of torque at this level across the rev range and help you achieve your goals.
You now have to choose an ECU and it is now possible to live map your ECU. You could also consider an Apexi or if at a later date you want to go further and delete the MAF Sensor with in gear boost and loads more features you could look at the Simtek but that is more expensive at £900 + VAT.
