tracking alines the toe in /toe out of the front wheels.the geometry changes the camber angle.if you dont understand what this means i will be happy to explain.

a normal garage with the right equipment should be able to set it up if they know what there doing but if you are localish to the clinic and there price i alright have them do it

Saying "I'm gonna get my tracking done" is a bit like saying you're going to hoover your house. Very likely you have a vacuum cleaner that isn't a Hoover, and what you get from the garage when you have your "tracking done" is going to depend on what kit the garage actually have. Literally as said already just doing the tracking would involve adjusting track rod length to centre the two front wheels (when this phrase originated this was pretty much the only adjustment available on a lot of cars). With the right kit a geometry check (and adjust if necessary) would check wheel centreing and alignment (camber/caster) front to rear. Unless you want to get your old Mk1 Escort done I'd try to find a garage with a specialist laser alignment bay with someone who knows how to use it properly.
