Anyone using LED bulbs for side and stop/tail

Seen them on ebay and wondered if anyone was using them on here.

Just thinking that the lifetime of the bulb is greatly increased over standard.

Have used white(quads) in the fronts, but they make 'em cheap and they don't last more than a year.... I think it's 'cos they don't have any voltage regulation built in. Wouldn't pay more than a few quid just to see them blow in less than a year..... Certainly not £30 like PIAA charge.

Don't know about yours, but on mine just used long nosed pliers to twist the bulb holder, then pull out. Fit LED and power up as they only work when connected correctly.
If not working pull out and twist round half a turn then replace, then push and twist to finish !

Da da !

P.S. not a lot of room, but mine's a bug-eye....
