Not sure about the sports cat but the ninja decat is 3inch to 2.5 inch. I have the afterburner R 3inch with ninja decat which is a bit pointless as it goes to 3 inch - 2.5 inch - 3 inch so it's still restricted at the end of the downpipe.

Going to get a 2.5 inch system from the downpipe back and replace the 3 inch as i think it makes it laggy and kills turbo response, mine is a v3 96 sti wagon import by the way.

I got mine from scoobyworld, full Afterburner R 3" decat system:thumb:
you need to ask for the full 3" system, they get Hayward & Scott to make a
turbo 4" bellmouth to a 3" dia at the bottom of the downpipe.

It is bloody loud when you give it some beans:D

I'm seriously considering getting a resonated centre section made up for mine, i've had enough of the drone. It sounds awesome don't get me wrong but motorways are no fun..

According the H&S people back pressure will only be affected by a very small amount as well.

@ ms - I didn't know their was an option for full 3 inch decat? Mine is 3-2.5 but the bend coming off the bellmouth looks to be less than 2.5 inch. Do you have a link to the 4-3inch decat?

From Scoobyworld:

"Afterburner R - cat back system with 3" pipework throughout backbox and centre section, narrowing to 2.5" where it joins downpipe"

Did yours have a 3inch flange from centre section to downpipe and if so did H&S make it especially? The above like I have goes to 2.5inch downpipe end which kind of deafeats the point of having a 3inch? Not sure but may get a 2.5inch centre section and backbox to see if it improves the power and response, just feels a bit flat now.

i will check tomorrow where the flange is, from memory i am sure the rear and centre sections are slip jointed and there is a flange coming off the 3" centre section which fitted to the H&S 3" flange at the bottom of the decat down pipe.
Just call them and ask, or drop them an email asking for full afterburner R 3" decat.
sure they charged about £580ish delivered
