Who else got Guitar Heroes III?
 

Got mine for the 360 and I can't play any musical instrument to save my life. But foofin hell I love this game SOOOOO much :D Only playing on easy and must have played Alice Coopers Schools Out about 20 times in a row before trying something else.

I've only come off it because I want to play with the kids and their presents. Tonight could be a late one once their in bed :D

Any easy way to unlock all the good tracks (ie not have to do lots of achievements first)?

Tempted to get a 2nd guitar for the Mrs (who is very musical) so we can jam together :lol1:

Whats it like on 2 player?

We got this. Not a big fan cos i have no coordination whatsoever lol. Apparanetly theres something called rock band due soon in the uk which has a drum kit too.

just playing through on easy to unlock all the songs .... I was a medium player on GHII. Hard is a step too far for me.

Has anyone got any achievment points from this yet?

I have ..... bronze and silver streaker, 100% a song and complete the easy tour.

Finished easy, medium and almost finished hard (all with 5 star ratings). About to start the extreme mode now :D

the Slayer song in the last group is a killer .... best I can do is 93% :(

My other halfs son had one (2 guitars) he is 25, and he makes the bl**dy thing rock, alas not a lot of sleep but hell its good to be young again. :luxhello:

I've not played GHIII but I have GHII, not played it for a while but I struggled on medium.

Ahrgggg that slayer song is doing my head in. The part at the end is a nightmare even on easy. I take it that was the brick wall that the guy on zero punctuation was on about.

Me and the Mrs are just working through the career after doing all that was available on quick play. Its bloody superb and this is the first thing i've got to her to play on the 360 :cool: Going to have to get a 2nd guitar at this rate. The game just gets better and better :D

Do you get an achievement every time you complete a song on 100%? I haven't managed one yet, missed 1 note each time :mad: but the Mrs has done 1 song so far on 100%.

Just got to the Slayer and Metallica tracks last night, tier 8 :cool: Foofin hell how hard is that Slayer track Raining Blood though??? :o Never going to manage that one and the boss battle isn't exactly easy either.

I'm now stuck trying to beat lou at the end of the medium section :(

I'm currently hooked playing Metallica's One and Black Sabbath's Paranoid and Gun N Roses Welcome to the Jungle and need more of these bands tracks.

Tried medium difficulty last night and was too much for me, i'm happy playing easy level over and over :D
