WRX or STi Engine to fit V4 (MY98) WRX Type R V-Limited
 

Long shot I know but need an engine for a mates V4 (MY98) WRX Type R RA V-Limited who has just put a rod through his block due to oil pump failure!

We would prefer a complete engine to drop in, but would consider a 2.0 short block at the right price.

Either way it MUST be low mileage (under 50K) and in good mechanical condition.

The engine/block must be within 2 hours collection of Shrewsbury (so we can view first) or you must be willing to ship (and supply lots of pics).

My mate has very little money to put this right, so please take this into consideration before contacting.

2.0 engines or blocks only please, my mate just wants to get his baby back on the road and does not want to upgrade.

i've got a 2.0 wrx engine with 40k on the clock 3 months warrenty and i'm only down in ellesmere mate.
