Help - continuing problems with converted files ??

Help still having problems with the conversion / burning process of any files that I convert into dvd type formatt in that whenever I play the disc in my dvd player the picture quality will be okay but the picture will still occasionally stutter / jump. am using VSO convert x to dvd software and using its built in burning software but have also tried nero for the actual burning process but still get the same results.

am getting this problem with all my downloads when I use the conversion / burning process, plays great when watched from the pc using say windows medai player or whatver in its original formatt so its obviously something in the conversion / burning process thats causing the problem and not the original download.

any ideas ??

I used to get that on occasion, till I tried burning DVD's at a slower speed, made a difference from relative coasters to watchable films :)

Better media, better drive, slower speed all tend to help with these things.

Also, turn on verification in Nero if its an option (normally its an option, but this may not be the case for converted files depending how it handles the temporary files).

Certain DVD drives prefer certain media. Check your manufacturer's site and any forums that talk about your drive.

Also, check for firmware updates for you drive. Often helps with media incompatibility.
