Here's my old classic, basically using a brodit pro clip and velcro. I still have it in the garage if you like the look, they are £15 plus post new so make an offer ;)

Those BRODIT mounts are pure quality that's the position I have my TT fitted in, they are well worth the money.... Great idea Tony :thumb:

They are good aren't they, have one in the MY06 now too :D .

The width of the proclip is a great match for the Apexi controller so looks like it was designed to fit :)

The only thing i miss is having no car finance ;) . As for the car itself the MY06 is leagues better... that's not a bash at classics as i loved mine but as i'm getting older and having a little girl now the extra refinement etc are appreciated. Classics will suit other people better.

Plus i love the torque of the 2.5 with PPP :D

Hi mate

Was all set for the ESL but we had issues with the car (as normal) so ended up with the Apexi instead. My brother is getting JGM to do the ESL in the early part of next year, so will be able to get a good comparison.

Just waiting for a boost controller to arrive, then she'll be running 1.3 bar.
Amazing the difference a re-map makes. So much nicer to drive now.

Thanks for the pictures guys, have got a few ideas now :D

Gary, I've got the Brodit one too, crap photo in view my scooby!

Tone Loc 19 December 2007 08:42 PM

If anyone fancies going for a Brodit they can have mine for a fiver and postage ;) You even get a free bit of velcro with it as per my pic above.

Tony.

Hi Al... long time no speak :)

Ian (Trails), just got a PM from you but can't reply as your box is full. The only pics i have are in this thread... would only suit a MY92-97 dash, not the facelift which you have??? Hopefully you'll see this ;)

thanks Tony, you are right I am face lifted...thanks anyway :thumb:

Tone Loc 20 December 2007 03:35 PM

You can get the same thing for a facelift dash, think they are about £15 from lots of places (search for Brodit). The fit is excellent on these and a cheap way to mount the controller in eye view and doesn't look bodged.

Here's a link to the brodit website with a pic.... Brodit MY99

mmm, I think I would have been prepared to pay a fiver for one but to be honest the velcro shipped with it does the trick...:D the Commander works well located where it is at present (you can just see it in the bottom left of the pic). :)
