Well I managed to connect the 360 wireless to Xbox live.....

Gamer tag = esc bibo :)

BUT!!!!!!!

How the hell do I play online with other people? Spent an hour last night trying to play Assasins Creed and CoD4 online... HELP

have a look on the web, there's stacks of info.

are you logged into your live acount?

go into multiplayer on cod4 and select xbox live then find game...then pick a game type eg. team deathmatch and wait 10 seconds....

then get shooting/running/jumping/hiding!!!

really must get mine online. perhaps i'll have time over xmas.

Just started to play CoD 4 online and the wife picks up the console whilst Im playing and the disc is ruined!!!!!!

i did that with "Forza" about a minute after i bought it!!!!!

got the scratches polished out and saved the disk.

ps: do not move the xbox when turned on with a disk inside it....

where did you get your polisher from? :wonder:

i used car polish mate and a microfiber cloth.

the gung-ho method always works for me (well more often than not)

i'll think you might find that the scratches are not actually scratches, but plastic from inside the xbox somewhere, which has scuffed onto the dvd surface.
polishing will remove this residue (try it on a duff cd by replicating the damage) basically if the surface of the disk looks good, it will play good.

ive got a scratch on my disk aswell, apparently it's happening to allot of people because their playing it too much!!!:lol1:

If it was a supermarket take it back and say it didn't work.

If not buy the game again from a supermarket and take the one back that dont work. Then you can sell one.

Notice MarkRB5 had added me.... but how do we all "meet up" in the virtual world lol :)

basically one of us starts a lobby (empty room)
then invites the other friends into this room.
so we end up with 6 or so friends in a room (ooo errr!!)

then we take the whole room full of friends and join an online game.
that way we are all on the same team.

...and we can chat to each other through the headset.
