Motor for electric aerial?
 

My aerial has given in and wont retract back down. I think the problem is that water has been getting in, because i was taking my car jack out and noticed some water in the recess where the jack is kept.

Does anyone know where i can get another motor (2nd Hand) and also how do i stop the water getting in?

Usually water gets in from the lights, take them out and run a bead of mastic round them

ive heard of some people drilling a hole in the recess for the water to escape

I'll drill a hole over the weekend.

Just need a new motor for the aerial?

wouldn't it be better to cure the problem rather than a 5 second fix?

My scoob had exactly the same problem and it was water ingress from the rear lights
