I know these thank you post's can get a bit boring and repetitive, but when all is said and done a public thank you is sometimes due.

Well i popped along to Mocom to see Zak and Luke on tuesday. they got there nice and early to meet me from my early flight back from germany (work). :notworthy
First job of the day was to sort my geometry out.
second was to help with my engine idle, then we had the hand brake to adjust and a repair to do to the EDFC suspension.
when all this was done, then we took the car out for a little mapping tweaks...
well what can i say, we had a few issues with low down acceleration, but these were soon delt with and a few full power blasts saw the car running very nicely.
TBH the car is running great and i have a kick in the back at every gear change right up to the 8k rev limit. trust me this is very impressive and quite daunting too when you realy push the car right up the gear and rev range. all this at the lower 1.7bar boost level.
when we get to shove the octane booster in and push her up to the maximum boost level of 1.8 - 1.9 bar then things will get very frantic!!!!!
with the level of kick i get, i'm kind of glad we haven't changed the boost actuator, as i'm sure the extra boost and the level of punch would soon see me blow a gear box.
all i can say is roll on the SIDC track day and who knows what else... :norty:

bolt in or weld in? if it's bolt in and you want me to test it out in mine for you, just to make sure it'll fit ok, i of course will ;)

will be doing my iam course and test in the new year. also going on an andy walsh day and aiming to get on track a few times. i could probably do with the cage more now than after i've done that lot.:lol1:

Indeed, if you complete your iam and spend time with Mr Walsh, there should be no need for a cage, as you will be far safer, more skilled, and much quicker!

Saw some lovely spins over there yesterday, and some nice sounding sleepers too !

yup. needs to be done. the car is far far far more capable than i am and that at the moment is potentially dangerous. major power gains are on hold at the moment, as the training is far more important at this stage i feel.
