Funny thing is I distinctly remember Crawling along in a huge convoy doing 50mph at the most and most of the time being stuck in a traffic jam, we have hours of dvd footage showing us travelling along at very close to the minimum motorway speed:brickwall

but showing up a big corporate company in the papers would make us feel better :lol1:

Moley 12 December 2007 10:46 AM

I'd like to know when ITV are doing the programmes about the 'menace of school mums or old drivers', as they prove as much or even more of a risk on the road

Milamber 12 December 2007 10:49 AM

Time for Chief Inspector Nate to dig some dirt :norty:

Nate 12 December 2007 11:03 AM

what was the name of the 2 plonkers (police man and RAC guy) ..... I am sure dirt could be dug.

And Quentin Wilson .... What kind of presenter does he think he is, I have concluded that anything that he presents is worthy of 'forgetting to watch'.

V4JDMSTi 12 December 2007 11:12 AM

Come on DCI Nate. Get some information together and we'll go to the TV companies to make a more factual programme.

We can also feature the work that's done for the EAA, The Race for Life fund raisers, Christmas gifts for the kids at the Hospital etc, etc.

What footage was shown? Bibo's isn't finished is it? And mines only gone to club members so far, those that bothered to get their copies that is!

If it is mine - then I'll sue their a*se for airing copyright material :lol1:

Granby 12 December 2007 06:18 PM

Budgie 12 December 2007 09:30 PM

the bit i couldn't work out was:confused:
how quentin wilson said it was irresponsable for the public to fix cameras to
their motors and then have the footage hosted online for all to see unregulated
so what did they then proceed to do
show it on tv were it was probably recorded
and shown later for all to see
is that not a case for pot' kettle and black
i feel sure that that show was aired to more people in 30 mins on tv
than it ever has been in 30 mins online
that to me makes QW the mindless moron:razz:

budgie

btw, so were the four guinea pigs
this is not intended to be an insult to guinea pigs
i love guinea pigs
i always keep one in the bathroom
for when i run out of loo roll
