Hi, haven't had the heads off my V3 yet, but I've done the V4,5,6 WRX (shim over) ones with basically the same lifters and they are the same dimensions as the USDM/JDM 2.5 Sti solids through to 2006 (shim unders which I've used in a 2.5 with 2.0 V6 heads).

Think you'll find the V3 are the same (should be shim overs tho'). Think the only difference may be prior to V3 (pump ups WRX/RS Vs solids Sti/RA).

If all this is true for a V3 then Lifter buckets should be 34.959mm - 34.975, lifter bores 34.994 - 35.016, standard clearance 0.019 - 0.057 and wear limit 0.100.

May be wrong, anyone that cares can correct me. Hope this helps.

Ok Cheers.
I have a V2 STi heads and the bucket are 30mm O/D.

Has anyone rebore the lifter bore to accept a bigger bucket O/D?
