help on fitting turbo engine advice pls!!
 
:wonder:
i have subaru sport 1997 and want to drop a turbo engine in it.what advice can anyone give regarding this matter please??
eg...do i need to cahnge anything else once engines changed? the speedo?
anything that can help or tips? some one that has already done this??

Don't do it. Sell it and buy a turbo car. Your project will cost a fortune in time and money, certainly more than it is worth. Search this forum for similar views on similar threads.

Think you need to change quite alot...probably not the speedo cable tho lol

You will need the turbo gearbox as its stronger, the turbo rear diff as its limited slip, think the drive shafts on the turbo are stronger so you'll need them, the brakes should be uprated to cope with the extra speed an weight, the exhaust, the prop shaft?, some sports dont have rear anti-roll bars which would be a good idea to have but you'll need to replace the rear arms which have the drop link mountings on them, possibly other suspension bits, the wiring harness and turbo ecu
