OK, Just got my license back after I got a fixed penalty. I've now got the following -

1 x SP50, 5 points £500 fine (incl court costs)
1 x SP60, 3 points, £40 fine (fixed penalty)

Both of these were for the same thing (93 ish on the motorway, aren't they all ?)

Thing is, I didn't think an SP60 existed http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif any ideas ? what's going on and which one is the worst offence ?

Oh no, just realised, the second was for same speed but on a dual carriage way, but same difference surely ?

Oh cheers guys (+Stuart H for writing the FAQ)

SP60 is 'undefined speed limit offence'

Looks like 5 points for speeding and forgetting to produce my license (Doh - 1 hour late !) is a pretty serious driving offence.

In fact I may only have got 6 for 'Using a vehicle un-insured against third party risks' which is interesting, only 6 points !, I always frowned on people driving with no insurance, but it turns out they are no more criminal than myself !

I can see the potential for saving some serious cash next year .. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
