help!! horn not working

Just had a cat1 alarm fitted and found that the horn no longer works. Not sure if the 2 things are connected but when I looked at the wiring behind the dash a black earth wire has been cut and joined to the alarm.

I have tried searching for a wiring diagram but cannot find one.

can anyone help to confirm whether the horn push connects either a +12v or an earth to the relay.

Its a 97 type r if that makes any difference.

Don't want to call back the alarm installer if the wire being cut has nothing to do with it and don't want to mess with the alarm.

Any help would be appreciated as I have been inside the car most of the day and its driving me mad.

The horn is bolted to the car, so there is only a positive connection going to it, possible fuse blown ? , a break in the positive wire, or maybe the connector has come off of the steering wheel horn push ?

If you need a replacment horn though, you can't go far wrong with the one I have ;)
