Driving in Iraq

I presume military vehicles are allowed to be driven like this due to the threat from insurgents?

Agreed ^^^

if you listen you can hear them blasting the horn trying to get through, prob on there way to secure somewhere possibly under live fire.

no what do you think about it?

Well needs must and when this video was taken there was a very very high risk of attack, the only good way to avoid this is to keep moving and if there is an attack get out of the kill zone as quickly as you can.

Of course in any normal situation you would not drive like that but if you were doing a high value escort or acting on intel then you dont hang about.

There has now been a big clamp down on PSCs operating in Iraq to try and clean their image up a bit.

You do know that is Iraq not, a quiet suburb in the home counties?. You don't stop for anything. The next car in front of you that stops could be the one that is being used to set you up for an IED attack as below.

Also, not wanting to post graphic material on here but there was a PSC company operating in Iraq at the start (Edinburgh Risk) and they were bumped big time on BIAP and due to poor drills in the first place they were in major trouble. It was all caught on their dash video, a couple of ex british army guys were KIA.
