Sti on Autotrader - Advice Needed
 

Does anyone on here know anything about this bugeye Sti that's currently on Autotrader?

I was thinking about trading up from my WRX

Subaru Sti

possible import? Pink badge on front may be the give-away.

Not an import as no rear wash-wipe. Looks like Bugeye prodrive style STi with PPP. Rare in black too.

Best bang per buck of all the OEM subaru's IMHO.

As ever it has to be seen in the flesh (it looks to have a non-oem lip spoiler)and the docs checked. :)

Its either one of those or a P1 for me :)

The import Prodrive bugeye is actually based on a Spec C (has a roof vent) proper rare too.

Phone the seller up mate.

Ask who has done the servicing, and are there any receipts present?

Ask how many owners the car has had, and ask if it's HPI clear.

If all is well after that, go and see it, and look closely for accident repaired evidence, and examine the history paperwork yourself.

I thought it may be an import because I couldn't find any information on it via the DVLA website

I was hoping that someone here may have known the car or even owned it so I could get a bit of information to decide if the trip was worthwhile.
