Looking for a mapper

Looking for someone to re-map MY99 classic. Was told of a guy called "Pat" - but don't seem able to get hold of his number? :wonder:
Any ideas? Or does anyone know of someone else?
Cheers :thumb:

Yep - I've spoken to Zak and he wants to put an apexi on it - but the car can be re-mapped - ECU Tek - so thats what I'm after ideally! Plus with Xmas around the corner, the Apexi is almost double the price!

Pat 07803906141, mapped my previous wagon several times, and it's still running well. Pat is a bit of an odd ball, I was very pleased with the work he did for me. :thumb:

Zak would now be my preference, but he cannot map that year at present with the std ecu, hence the apexi suggestion. And the reason why I now have an Apexi in a MY99. :D

I rarely say that I want to put an Apexi on a 99/00 car without good reason when you have the option of retaining the original ECU :wonder: and when I do suggest EcuTek I'll also direct you to an agent I'd trust to do the job rather than saying "I want to fit an Apexi" and letting you out the door .

The Apexi can be better suited to a car running larger injectors, different MAF and such like but on an otherwise standard car I'd suggest retaining the stock ECU.

EcuTek costs circa £650 to the Apexi's £850 so to be fair, not quite double the price.

Not knocking you here Zak - but you DID qoute for an Apexi to be fitted, but we've been qouted £400 for an EcuTek - so when I did math at school - I make that double.
Your work does come HIGHLY recommended without a doubt, but at this time of year - can't stretch the budget to accomodate the Apexi!
