Turkey Run 2007Mini Meet
 

The Turkey Run 2007, hosted by the Maiden City Motor Club is to be held again this year on Thursday the 27th December 2007. This is a single stage event, run around the circuit at Aghadowey just outside Coleraine......

I have attended the event a few times over the last few years and due to the time of year the prospect of rally cars + ice makes for quite an exciting day trip............

The event normally starts about 1100am and finishes about 1600hrs...The line up is mainly clubman type entries, but there are a sprinkling of WRC cars and plenty of the very entertaining Mk2 Escorts etc

Was thinking of taking a run up to this as there is normally very little to do in the limbo period between Xmas and the New Year, anyone who wants to join me would be more than welcome, its a nice drive up, and beats the hell out of sitting about eating turkey and stuffing sandwiches and watching the Great Escape AGAIN LOL

Anyone still up for this? Was thinking of leaving carrick @ 1030am, heading up via Antrim and Ballymena and through Ballymoney, arriving about 1200.....If anyone wants to meet up or convoy up to this to avoid the post turkey blues, stick your names down and when and where you wanna meet up........should be a nice way to round off the year folks

Yeah id be up for this but nawt sure yet as me car is still away getting ecu/headers/front mount etc all fitted and not looking good for getting her back for christmas :cry: :cry: but we will see closer to the time!!:thumb:

Hope to get down to this tomorrow with ScoobyDoo and The_RodP1, but nawt sure yet whos driving cuz my cars not back yet from OMA :cry: :cry: and scoobydoo is working at the rally servicing so we will just see yous down there at some point.:thumb: :thumb:

is this still on? went round a wee skoot yesterday and saw no signs or life around the place at all. im not gonna freeze washin me scoob for nothing!!! actually, it hides the wee marks when its dirty............nah, i just CANT drive it dirty!
