were do they get there money from such a strange selection at ktc

juggers 22 November 2007 09:56 PM

Not sure ,but when i went there they had about 200 cars and quite a few of them were very clean cars. They cater for everyone high end and low end. I think we have only heard about the lower end cars. They had a 2006 spec c with delivery miles and it was in brand new condition. I was quite impressed to be honest they must be one of the biggest importers in England.

finalzero 23 November 2007 12:38 AM

Aye Juggers is right, they have a real mixed selection, most of their top range car's were how I would have expected them from other places.

You need to know what you are looking for so I wouldn't advise a place like KTC for a novice buyer unless you have someone with you who knows the cars well.

I thnk they deal with so many people they sometimes come across a bit odd (probably because they get their fair share of odd balls).

They had a noble that i was thinking of enquiring about BUT it turns out that it had a slight prang.. ;) make your own minds up...

Auto Trader Dealer Pages - Keighley Trade Sports & Performance

Why do you think that is cheap.... are the Jap S-GT models that much more expensive than the UK WRX (list price £19,950). I thought our UK WRX and the S-GT was basically the same model (bar the 2.0v2.5)??

Tony.

finalzero 23 November 2007 03:03 PM

I suppose it's down to being exclusive, I am sure someone will want an S-GT due to it being rare in the UK and the badge of course.

I read the review, there isn't much between the two but the jap verison obviously has the 2.0 block etc so don't know if thats good or bad.

ethanrob 23 November 2007 03:31 PM

must say

there's some awesome motors on there web page!

only to see it's a replica. :(

Apparently they have the new MY08 STI here which is getting ready for a model report ,but am not sure if this is true because the only way it could be here so quick is if they have flown it here which cost something silly like 6k+. :iamwithst

Terminator X 24 November 2007 03:24 PM

If they sell good cars as per Juggers post then why do they also sell sh1tters as regularly gets posted on SN? Bad press is bad press so you won't see me there as a result ...

exvaux 25 November 2007 04:55 PM

RLE 25 November 2007 05:06 PM

They are starting to go with the newer cars now and move away from the rot boxes that generally result in their poor reputation.

Spec 57 - the lad who bought the Noble blew the gear box within five minutes. Had himself to blame. Bounced it off the limiter continuously has he left the premises.

dunx 25 November 2007 05:09 PM

Says Cat D in the spec so it's a write-off !

R 13 SUB if you are superstitious you were right !

Dunx

P.S. When I went even the newer cars had panel fit issues !!!!

But not saying you can't pick up a tidy trade-in....
