hi all my import sti is on a s reg it has the engine (think it is the later one?)with the dump valve on the intercooler is it a 98 v4 or a 99 v5 hope someone can help its really confusing me:wonder: :freak3:

Look at your applied model number on the build plate. it will read GC8?4DD. A=MY93; B=MY94; C=MY95 & MY96; D=MY97; E=MY98 (V4); F=MY99 (V5) and G=MY00.

MY99 STI Version5 Saloon. 'DD' would be an STI Type-RA, which I thought Id read that it was in another thread, sorry.

ver 5&6 have the BOV on the intercooler near the passenger side but the 3&4 have a plastic one in the rubber feed hose.
