Snow fall........Anyone else NOT got some?

I'm feeling quite hard done by, I live oop norf in the coldest place on earth (Yorkshire ;) ) in the hills of the Pennines and haven't seen any snow yet, plenty of rain but no snow

I love the stuff, it's not fair

:D

Wurzel 19 November 2007 10:43 AM

We had shed loads of it last week but it all melted by the weekend and there are just token splats of the stuff round at the moment.

speye91 19 November 2007 10:46 AM

I also live on the edge of the Northern Pennines, quite High up.Usually first to get Snow, had a little bit Yesterday, and its currently Sleeting at the moment.

Scoobychick 19 November 2007 10:52 AM

We usually get it early too. I didn't move 200 miles north to be the last to get it, even my home county of Herts has had snow, grrr

FFS the Pennine Way runs right past my front door, I demand snow now! ;) :D

Tam the bam 19 November 2007 10:54 AM

Now if your wife would have said its damp and warm back home, I would have been on the first flight back ;)

simonbb1328 19 November 2007 04:08 PM

had a couple of flakes at 3 this morning but started raining after all of 30 seconds

As soon as I hit submit, I knew that would be picked up :D

Sal, I have no bad spot, just a fat belly which I keep covered up. I wouldn't want to scare the locals.

Presume you meant bald? :D Anyway it won't be long now, not at your age ;) :D

Billgtt 19 November 2007 04:20 PM

None down here in Surrey, but i'm in a small band that nearly ALWAYS manages to miss any extreme weather. Thunder storms, heavy snow, high winds, tornados, bla bla. Which is annoying as I love all that stuff :D

It's been raining near non-stop the last two days though.

andrewdelvard 19 November 2007 04:22 PM

None in Plymouth, but would be suprised if Dartmoor has had a dusting...
